History and origins
The temple was restored locally in 1998 to serve religious activities. The complex contains components formed in different periods; the date of rebuilding the temple is neither the geological age of its caves nor the date of every heritage site.
Cultural-sector materials record the designation of the Tiên Pagoda cave scenic site in 2011.
Architecture & surroundings
Its distinctive quality is the combination of religious architecture with cave chambers and stepped mountain paths. Each location has its own structure and objects of worship, so read the on-site introductions to understand each part of the visit correctly.
Cultural value
The complex reflects an encounter between Buddhism and folk beliefs of the former Hòa Bình area. The spring festival brings the community together, while the rocky landscape reminds visitors to protect the environment and heritage.
Events & festivals
The festival opening usually falls on the 4th day of the first lunar month, beginning the early-year pilgrimage season. Please check management announcements for specific dates and choose a visit suited to your health; do not feel obliged to complete every route when the site is crowded.
