History and origins

According to a 2025 Báo Xây dựng report and statements by the abbot, the temple has a history of more than a century and had deteriorated before the 2016–2020 restoration. Its current appearance results from that construction work; the original founding year has not been firmly established. The report also noted continuing repairs at the time of publication.

Architecture & surroundings

The main building has two storeys, with a front hall and upper sanctuary arranged in the shape of the character 工, together with four towers. Doors, railings and decoration use bodhi-leaf, lotus, dragon and phoenix motifs. The grounds contain trees, small landscapes and many Buddha statues; documentary photographs clearly show the combination of gold colouring and green roofs.

Cultural value

The temple is a place of Buddhist worship, study and practice for the local community. Lotus and bodhi imagery, together with paintings of Buddhist teachings, help visitors learn familiar Buddhist symbols through decorative art.

Events & festivals

The temple has welcomed Buddhist visitors and sightseers during the early spring period. Please ask in advance about opening dates, ceremonies and areas under repair so that your visit can proceed smoothly.
