About
Trúc Lâm Chính Pháp Zen Monastery is a centre for Buddhist study, practice and community activities in Tuyên Quang. Following the spirit of the Trúc Lâm Zen tradition, it welcomes people to pay homage to the Buddha, study Buddhist texts and cultivate a life oriented towards goodness.

History and origins
According to the Tuyên Quang provincial portal, the foundation-stone ceremony took place in 2013; formal construction began in early 2019 and the monastery was inaugurated on 17/3/2024. Its establishment involved contributions from monastics, Buddhist devotees and the local community.
Architecture & surroundings
The Tam Bảo hall is the central feature, flanked by eastern and western corridors and areas serving study and practice. Tuệ Quang Gate combines a central tower form with three entrances. The buildings accommodate worship alongside learning and shared activities.
Cultural value
The monastery adds a place to practise and learn about the Trúc Lâm tradition in Tuyên Quang. Ethical education for young people, preservation of Buddhist books and service to the community were among the aims stated at its inauguration.
