Linh Sơn Pagoda stands on a hill in Tân Phong, with a lake in front and Lai Châu’s mountains around it. It serves local Buddhist life and is also presented by the provincial tourism portal as a place for worship and scenic visits.

History and origins

The foundation stone was laid in 2019, and the first phase was inaugurated in July 2022 (7/2022). Its establishment responded to the need for a shared centre of Buddhist activities in Lai Châu. In 2026, the provincial tourism portal continued to describe the temple as the headquarters of the provincial Buddhist Executive Board.

Architecture & surroundings

Curved, layered roofs and timber materials create a traditional appearance. The worship hall, Avalokiteśvara platform and bell tower are arranged on the hillside, with open courtyards and views down towards the city. Visitors should distinguish the worship spaces from services outside the grounds.

Cultural value

Linh Sơn provides a shared temple for Buddhists in the highlands. It combines the preservation of Vietnamese architectural forms with study, practice, ceremonies and cultural exchange among Lai Châu residents.
